Dr. Shyam Lal Thapar College of Nursing (DRSLTCN) is a Nursing college located in Moga, Punjab, India, which was established in 1993 (started as School of Nursing and later promoted as College of Nursing) and run by Dr. Shyam Lal Thapar Foundation. It is affiliated to Baba Farid University of Health Sciences and recognized by Punjab Nurses Registration Council (PNRC) and Indian Nursing Council (INC), New Delhi.

For the overall development of the student of our college, we have 500 seated state of art Auditorium (Rajiv Gandhi Auditorium) for Symposia and extracurricular activities. The college celebrates many events through out the year such as, Independence Day, Republic Day, Founders Day, Oath Ceremony, Farewell Parties, Womens Day, all Religious Festivals and Workshops for the students.

Thapar Hospital and Research Institute is a Multispecialty hospital located in Moga, Punjab, India, and run by Thapar Foundation. The Medical Director of this hospital is Dr. Tanuj Thapar who is M.B.B.S. , M.S. (ENT) M-Fellow Endoscopic Sinus Surgery, USA and Consultant ENT & Head – Neck Surgeon. Our competent and experienced doctors at the hospital are supported by skilled and dedicated teams of nurses and other Paramedical staff. The range of services includes medical and surgical specialties, diagnostics, ENT in-patient, out-patient and emergency services.

Our Courses

M.Sc Nursing

M.Sc Nursing is a post graduate degree course that involves the study of various specializations within Nursing. The candidate must have passed B.Sc. (nursing)/Post basic B.Sc. (minimum 55% marks) with 1-year of work experience.

B.Sc Nursing

B.Sc Nursing is a full-time degree course that involves the study of nursing education and research and eligibility will be as per the prospectus of PPMET to be issued by Baba Farid University of Health science, Faridkot.

Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing

Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing is a 2-year undergraduate program for candidates interested in furthering their nursing education. Minimum Eligibility of this Course is 10+2 or equivalent qualification, preferably with Science subjects.

ANM

ANM is a 2-year undergraduate certificate-level course in Medical Nursing. The program aims to produce skilled general nurses. Minimum Eligibility of ANM Course is 10+2 level of education with a minimum aggregate of 45% marks.

GNM

GNM is a 3-year diploma in General Nurse Midwifery. The course focus on providing care to individuals, families, and communities. Minimum Eligibility of GNM Course is 10+2 level of education with a minimum aggregate of 40% marks.

D.Pharma

D.Pharma is a 2-year full-time Diploma course after 10+2 level of education with science subjects. This course is affiliated to Punjab State of Board of Technical Education, approved by AICTE and provided by Thapar College of Pharmacy.
